Inglewood & Districts Health Service (IDHS) is a small rural health service, close to Bendigo, offering a comprehensive range of services including Acute and Residential Aged Care, District and Community Health Nursing. We are seeking competent, caring nursing staff interested in the diverse range of clinical issues presenting in a rural health service.

 

Unit Manager – 1.0 EFT Permanent Position

This is an ideal position for a nurse interested in pursuing a career in Management and committed to clinical safety and quality improvement in a combined Acute and Aged Care setting.

Trainee  Personal Care Worker – 2 positions available

These are twelve month full-time positions for a Traineeship as a Personal Care Worker, while completing a Certificate 111, Community Services (Aged Care) in this time. The position involves the PCW working as part of the Aged Care teams to assist with resident care providing assistance with activities of daily living, including personal care, meals, and mobility whilst encouraging maximum independence.

Community Development Worker 0.4 EFT

This is a 6 month position until the end of June with the potential (subject to funding) for a further tenure of up to three years. It is an ideal position for an enthusiastic person interested in engaging with the community to build capacity and skills and knowledge. (0.2 EFT Youth Worker position may be combined where there is an interest).
