Inglewood & Districts Health Service (IDHS) is an integrated rural health service nestled in the peaceful rural hamlet of Inglewood in country Victoria.  Offering a broad range of services including acute care, community health and hospital and residential aged care to more than 5,500 residents in the Shire of Loddon, and located less than an hour from the regional centre of Bendigo, IDHS is offering a very attractive option to work in a rural setting while having access to all the facilities and services of a large regional centre.



IDHS is going through an exciting period of organisational transformation and we are currently seeking experienced, caring and enthusiastic professionals to join our team.

All appointments to IDHS are subject to a satisfactory criminal history check.

Applicants for all nursing positions must have current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Victoria.

Key selection criteria

  • Recent experience encompassing a broad range of clinical practice
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a clinical role in the Acute, Urgent Care Centre and Aged Care environments and apply contemporary knowledge and evidence based practice
  • A commitment to the process of quality improvement and accreditation
  • Demonstrated high level of inter-personal skills with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, clients, the community, all service providers and other agencies
  • Commitment to a team approach and the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills, including report writing skills

Endorsed Enrolled Nurse – 1.8 FTE Ongoing

Key selection criteria

  • Medication Endorsement
  • Experience in aged care with sound assessment, care planning, care delivery and evaluation skills
  • Understanding of the concept of person centred care
  • Sound level of communication skills with the ability to lead a small team
  • A preparedness to engage in precepting/coaching students and orientation of new staff
  • Commitment to collaborative practice and productive working relationships
  • Ability to reflect on own practice
  • Evidence of ongoing Clinical Practice Development
