IInglewood & Districts Health Service (IDHS) is an integrated rural health service nestled in the peaceful rural hamlet of Inglewood in country Victoria.  Offering a broad range of services including acute care, community health and hospital and residential aged care to more than 5,500 residents in the Shire of Loddon, and located less than an hour from the regional centre of Bendigo, IDHS is offering a very attractive option to work in a rural setting while having access to all the facilities and services of a large regional centre.

ENDORSED ENROLLED NURSE

Hours negotiable – full time hours available

Applications are invited from Endorsed Enrolled Nurses for a permanent full time position within Inglewood & Districts Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a productive member of the team while delivering person centered care to the residents of Aged care.

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • Experience or willingness to gain experience in aged care
  • Sound assessment, care planning, care delivery and evaluation skills
  • Understanding of the concept of person centred care
  • Sound communication skills
  • A preparedness to engage in precepting/coaching EN students and orientation of new staff
  • Commitment to collaborative practice and productive working relationships
  • Ability to reflect on own practice
  • Evidence of ongoing Clinical Practice Development

HEALTH CARE WORKER

Applications are invited from Health Care Workers for a casual position within Inglewood & Districts Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a productive member of the team while delivering person centered care to the residents of Aged care.

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • Experience, or willingness to gain experience, in providing personal care
  • Knowledge of Residential Aged Care standards
  • Understanding of the concept of person-centred care
  • Commitment to positive working relationships
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated awareness of confidentiality and privacy principles
  • A nationally accredited Level III or IV Certificate in a related discipline (or equivalent as recognised by IDHS) will be highly regarded
