Inglewood & Districts Health Service (IDHS) is an integrated rural health service situated in the Shire of Loddon providing services to more than 5,500 residents. IDHS offers a broad range of services including acute care, community health and hospital and residential aged care. Applicants for all nursing positions must have current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Victoria.

All appointments to IDHS are subject to a satisfactory police check.


Registered Nurse – 0.8FTE

Endorsed Enrolled Nurse – 0.6FTE

The successful applicants musts be able to demonstrate advanced interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team. A thorough understanding of effective infection control practices and a commitment to quality improvement are also essential to be successful in this role.

 Key selection criteria                                          

  • Recent general nursing experience or willingness to gain experience in area of clinical practice
  • Comprehensive assessment, care planning, care delivery and evaluation skills
  • Understanding of the concept of person centred care
  • Sound level of communication skills
  • A preparedness to engage in coaching students and new staff
  • Commitment to collaborative practice and productive working relationships
  • Ability to reflect on own practice
  • Evidence of ongoing Clinical Practice Development

Graduate Nurse – 0.8FTE

As a developing Registered Nurse, the successful applicant must be able to demonstrate the ability to develop and consolidate clinical skills learnt during the Bachelor of Nursing course to provide best practice, evidence based, person-centred health care to consumers in a safe and competent manner.
