Inglewood & Districts Health Service (IDHS) is situated in the Shire of Loddon providing services to more than 5,500 residents.  Our integrated care service model consists of – urgent, acute and aged, community (chronic disease), district nursing, counselling, health promotion / illness prevention, planned activity groups.

Nurse Unit Manager (NUM)

Reporting to the Director Clinical and Community services, the primary role of the NUM is to complement the services strategic direction, operational processes, budget and business direction by leading and mentoring a team of care staff.  Demonstrated skills in managing day to day operations within a hospital setting and commitment to delivering person-centred care are essential.  You will be required to undertake direct patient care as needed.

Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM)

Reporting to the NUM, the primary role of the ANUM is to provide support to the NUM in managing the day-to-day operations of the hospital and to ensure an appropriate level of person-centred care is provided by the team of care staff.  As an experienced ANUM, you will have demonstrated experience in assessing, planning, practicing and evaluating the care provided to patients and residents.

Selection Criteria

To be successful in these positions, applicants must have current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Victoria, be able to demonstrate sound clinical knowledge, be able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the concept of person-centred care.
