IDHS undergoes various accreditation processes to ensure our organisation complies with high standards of health care.
ACHS (Australian Council on Health Care Standards)
IDHS has recently successfully achieved accreditation with this body and is accredited until August 2015.
HACC (Home and Community Care)
Accreditation for HACC services has recently been achieved by IDHS through the ACHS process.
Under the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency IDHS residential aged care facilities are accredited until November 2009.
VPSM (Victorian Patient Satisfaction Monitor)
This body provides regular ongoing monitoring and reporting of patient satisfaction. This body gathers patient feedback via voluntary participation in written surveys. These results are collated and reported to the hospital every 6 months, along with a comparison to the results for similar organisations.
Encompassing Emergency Management, Risk Management, Incident Control, analysis and reporting.
Also covers incident investigation, chemical management and education. HSE committee meetings are held monthly to promote and encourage a culture of safety throughout IDHS.
