Hospital Services

Acute Services / Urgent Care

IDHS has two (2) Urgent Care beds and eight (8) hospital beds available for our community if they need to be admitted to hospital supported by a skilled and caring nursing team and local general practitioners to get you feeling better soon.

All Patients who are admitted to Inglewood & Districts Health Service and are Medicare ineligible, will be provided with relevant information about the costs of their treatment and all of the information required by the health service is collected during the inpatient stay.

Advanced Care Planning (ACP)

Advance care planning (ACP) is about making your future healthcare wishes known in case you are too ill or unwell to speak for yourself. It makes sure those who are looking after you know what your wishes are and what is important to you for your healthcare.

All admissions to our acute area will be asked if they have an ACP or if they would like to help to complete this.

If you would like more information regarding Advance Care Planning contact IDHS on 54317000
